Brian fulfilled his dream of joining a fishing charter with his brother, nephew, and close friends - a moment he never thought he’d experience again. Thanks to the Dreams Program, the group enjoyed a fantastic day on the water, reeling in plenty of fish and sharing laughter and stories over burgers at the local café.
Out of Africa and into the photo album
Tracy grew up in Africa and loved animals. In the final stages of palliative care, she was able to relive the fascination that she shared and loved with her young daughter Taya during a memory-making weekend away at Jamala Wildlife Lodge.
The Dream Team
It was a difficult time for Mick when his lung cancer required admission to the palliative care ward at Greenwich Hospital. But a visit by his 2005 Premiership Wests Tigers heroes brought a sparkle to his eyes and his dream to life.
Magical memories with Merlin
Deise’s aggressive neck and facial cancer took away her joy of speaking and eating. But there was one passion that couldn’t be taken from Deise: her love of cats. The Dreams Project organised visits from two special and cuddly cats, including Merlin, who gave her hope and the will to live again.
