"Mum is on a Level 4 package managed by HammondCare and lives with me. I can't fault their care, with wonderful, carefully picked workers who look after Mum so well. I'll say I'm pretty fussy as I'm an RN and expect high standards... It's been such a positive experience over the last 12 months, when I'd heard so many stories about other providers."

Harry Westerdyk, 100, remarkably still lives independently on his Wamberal acreage. An unfinished boat in his yard, a retirement project, is a reminder of his powers with metal.

I contacted five different companies at the same time and Hammond Care won hands down with their support as I navigated the process, their knowledge and advice and their responsiveness. Within two weeks I had signed up with them and support workers started immediately."

We both cannot speak too highly of the girls that come. They are bright and happy and make us feel on top of the world with them giving assistance with personal care and domestic duties."
Bob Macgregor | Google review‘HammondCare feel like family to us’ – Sheila and John’s home care story

They are very polite and caring with her and help her with everything, doing or helping her with anything she needs or asks. We are very happy with them."
Tracey Brown | Google review"HammondCare allowed my father to stay at home until the very end. Eliza and the carers went over and above. They did everything for Dad and worked around his routine, going out of their way to find him at home and clean and chat with him. Eliza visited him in hospital. I am forever grateful that they were there for him."
Annabelle Warwick | Google reviewWhat is a Home Care package?
A Home Care Package is a Government-subsidised program that helps you live independently at home for longer.
The types of care and support available through a Home Care Package include:
- help with housework
- personal care
- clinical support
- respite
- meals and food preparation
- transport
- shopping
- allied health
- social support
- and more!
What does a Home Care Package cost?
The Australian Government subsidises a range of aged care services in Australia. If your personal circumstances allow, you may be expected to contribute towards the cost of your care. Your specific subsidy and costs will be advised after your assessment. Each provider has different payment structures and costs.
At HammondCare, we have simple fixed care and package management fees which have many inclusions, ensuring you know upfront what your monthly payments will be.
How do I access a Home Care Package?
To access a Home Care Package, you will need to be assessed by My Aged Care. Once eligible, you will be provided with your package details by the Government and be able to choose a provider and plan a package based on your specific and individual needs.
What services can I receive?
Your assessment through My Aged Care will determine which Home Care Package level best meets your care needs.
There are four levels:
- Level 1 Basic care needs
- Level 2 Low-level care needs
- Level 3 Intermediate care needs
- Level 4 High-level care needs
HammondCare offers a range of home care services and unique benefits through our national partnerships, including our positive ageing services and the exclusive client benefits.
