How much does residential aged care cost?

Before applying, the first thing you will need is an assessment from My Aged Care to determine your eligibility, or your loved one’s eligibility for residential care. Once this is determined, there are three main fee areas:

  1. The basic daily care fee
  2. A payment to the aged care provider to cover accommodation costs
  3. Government care subsidy
