Thanks for your feedback on Partnering in Care

We recently asked for your feedback on our Partnering in Care program and wanted to share with you some of the responses to our survey. By listening to you, we can focus on what’s important to the people we support and continue to provide for your individual needs.

We know the importance of getting to know clients so we can provide you with the best possible care. The survey told us that you feel

  • our care staff are very caring
  • you are treated with dignity and respect
  • our care managers are polite and friendly
  • well supported to maintain your independence at home

Building a strong relationship between staff and clients means we can better understand your care needs, and that starts with respecting you for who you are and treating you with the dignity you deserve.

One of the main reasons to ask for your feedback was also to learn about the areas we need to improve on.

You told us we could do better with our communication and that it needs to be more timely, responsive and easy to access. We know how vital communication is and we will be working to improve this area of our service.

A consistent care team was another area highlighted for improvement, but we’re also grateful that clients recognised the unprecedented challenges of COVID and workforce turnover. HammondCare At Home prides itself on the relationships that we build with clients and, despite current challenges, we are working hard to improve staff consistency through recruitment and training programs.

Thank you to those who were able to participate in our Partnering in Care Survey. We look forward to sharing with you the improvements we make as a result of your feedback.
