Darlinghurst Design Workshop

Date: 30 January 2020
Location: Sydney
Type: Workshop

Evidence shows that a carefully designed environment can be as vital to positive outcomes in aged care as the care itself. It can be the difference between quality of life or lack thereof.

HammondCare Darlinghurst is one of the first services in Sydney offering residential aged care accommodation in private rooms, with specialised complex care for both men and women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

This purpose-built, multi-level aged care home will provide 42 residents a home-like environment and operate within a framework of care that is personalised and designed to maximise independence.

The Darlinghurst Design Workshop offers an invaluable opportunity to visit this new building prior to resident occupancy. You will gain unique insight into how design principles have been translated into building features which will directly influence the resident’s quality of life and support quality care delivery.

Join us at this workshop to see aged care research translated into practice at one of HammondCare's latest developments. Places limited.
