COVID-19 Update for HCAH Clients

10 August 2021

Dear Clients, Family and Friends,

We are writing today to update you on new advice received from NSW Health regarding the wearing of face masks.

The advice we have received is that all clients living in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Port Stephens, Cessnock, Dungog, Singleton, Muswellbrook, Armidale, Tamworth, Ballina, Byron, Lismore and Richmond Valley Local Government Areas must wear a mask whist a health care worker is in attendance, where possible.

We understand this may not be possible for all visits, especially where there may be a health or medical reason.

As there is a stay-at-home order in place, there may be additional people in your household that are currently at home. We do ask that these members of your family wear a mask whilst the care worker is visiting or remain in a different room whilst the care worker is in attendance.

Please ensure everyone in the household has their own mask. HammondCare At Home care workers would be happy to assist you with shopping for a supply of masks, or masks can also be supplied through your Home Care Package on request.

HammondCare wishes to thank you for your understanding, patience and for partnering with us during this time.

As always, if you wish to reach out for any reason or you have any good ideas to share, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call us on 1800 826 166.

Warm regards,
