More about the role

This is a hands-on role and is crucial for the development of consistent, effective and strategically aligned communications content which position The Dementia Centre in the external sector.

The selected individual will be a commercially astute, communications professional with content development experience, especially writing. This role requires the proactive planning, writing and creation and implementation of communications activities and content. The incumbent will need to be energetic, driven and able to effectively collaborate and manage a variety of senior stakeholders to drive The Dementia Centre communications.


About you

  • Demonstrated ability to write and create a variety of forms of content is essential. For example, testimonial stories, white papers & case studies, social media, blogs and video scripts
  • Experience in a communications role with content development
  • A relevant profession academic qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience Capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A current drivers licence, safe driving record and a willingness to travel between HammondCare sites including intra and interstate
  • Strong administrative, computer and data base skills
  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
