We specialise in aged and dementia care, palliative care, rehabilitation, mental health services for older people, and other related health and aged care services.  HammondCare seeks to embed evidence based best practice in its services and we provide these services through home care, sub-acute hospitals and residential aged care.

About the role

Community Care Workers deliver a range of ‘At Home’ aged care services and mostly work independently in clients’ homes, but with direct support from their Care Manager. 

Our 'At Home' services in Lismore and Casino are growing, and we are seeking Care Workers who genuinely want to make a difference in older people's lives, by enabling our clients to maintain their sense of independence and wellbeing in a community setting.

About you (Selection Criteria)

  • A current drivers licence, reliable car and safe driving record is required
  • Willingness to travel between clients homes in the Lismore and Casino regions
  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action;
  • Empathy, patience and a caring nature is essential;
  • No formal qualifications necessary, however Certificate III related to Aged Care is highly regarded;
  • Passion for providing care for elderly people and to care for those living with dementia;
