The role of Cleaner works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure excellence in high quality services to the residents of Hammond Care in accordance with the organisational mission and mission in action statement.

The essence of this role:

  • Ensuring excellence in high quality services to the residents of Hammond Care in accordance with HammondCare’s Mission in Action
  • Effectively communicate and work together with internal and external stakeholders

About you

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
  • Significant practical experience in cleaning and laundry work in aged care desirable, however training will be provided.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy and patience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work individually and in a team situation. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling and standard precautions.
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities.
  • High level communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Able to work on a flexible roster
