About the role

  • Assist in the delivery of a range of restorative care and rehabilitation programs designed to address reversible functional decline, and increase independence and quality of life for older people living in the community. Programs are time-limited and goal directed, and target physical, cognitive and psycho-social functioning;
  • Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary allied health team in assessing clients’ level of function and care needs, setting care goals and providing appropriate therapies and equipment.


About You

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
  • Experience supporting clients with therapy programs and equipment set up
  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance / or relevant experience
  • Experience working in health or aged care setting
  • A current drivers licence, safe driving record and access to own vehicle
  • Computer skills
  • Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites and services\
