HammondCare to operate dementia day service at Parkhill Cottage

Two international leaders in dementia care and design exchanged information and ideas when representatives of De Hogeweyk dementia village met with HammondCare at Hammondville this week.

Leading health and aged care provider, HammondCare, will begin a dementia day service operating from Parkhill Cottage in Manly from the start of April.

General Manager, HammondAtHome, Sally Yule said HammondCare has extensive experience in providing care for people living with dementia and is looking forward to establishing the new service in Manly.

Ms Yule said services would continue for all people attending Parkhill Cottage and meetings with stakeholders were well underway.

"Care for people attending Parkhill Cottage will continue without disruption and we look forward to continuing to meet clients and carers to discuss our service plans and receive their feedback," Ms Yule said.

Ms Yule said HammondCare was committed to providing a top-quality, specialised dementia service for people on the Northern Beaches.
