About Hope Healthcare and HammondCare
In 2008, HammondCare acquired Hope Healthcare. This strategic move came out of discussions on the complimentary nature of HammondCare and Hope’s services.
This acquisition means that HammondCare now provides palliative care, rehabilitation and older persons' mental health as well as our on going commitment to dementia and aged care services, with many additional services provided through sub-acute faclitites such as Neringah Hospital at Wahroonga, Greenwich Hospital at Greenwich, Braeside Hospital at Fairfield, and the Northern Beaches Palliative Care service at Mona Vale. We also provide a wide range of other ‘at home’ care services in Northern Sydney and in Sydney’s Southwest, particularly palliative care.
Our Commitment
It is through the commitment of our staff that HammondCare has successfully fulfilled its Christian mission and expressed values for over 75 years.
HammondCare is an innovative organisation; well regarded within the aged care industry, especially in regard to the quality of our community and residential dementia care services, and our external training services.
HammondCare works with its staff to ensure they have support, opportunities, training, responsibility and reward, good work/life balance and satisfying and creative roles.
We only want people to work at HammondCare who enjoy and value older people and demonstrate this in their behaviour and attitude. From time to time we offer varying roles in management, nursing, caring and administration.
