International Dementia Conference 2018 - Mission Impossible? Truth & Lies in the age of choice

Starts: 7th June, 2018

Duration: Two Days

Location: Hilton Sydney

HammondCare’s Dementia Centre are inviting you to register for the International Dementia Conference 2018, a two day event bringing together international and Australian researchers, aged care providers, planners, policy makers, people with dementia and carers.

Choice is the central theme of our 2018 conference. The Conference brings together global thinking on important issues as we seek to understand what is at the heart of what we do. Consumer directed care, change and competition in the open market of Australia’s
home care, specialist dementia care units and palliative care are just some of the issues that will be considered and debated.

There will be a range of plenary speakers, including Professor Sheena S. Iyengar (USA), inaugural
S.T. Lee Professor of Business in the
Columbia Business School, Jane Halton (Australia), former Secretary of the
Australian Department of Finance, and Baroness Ilora Finlay of Llanda (Wales), Professor of Palliative Medicine at Cardiff University.
