Software and Technology

Development in these ares are not only limited to dementia hostels and nursing homes. The ability to provide a safe environment in the home is of major importance in providing the early dementia sufferer with independence.  The dsdc is doing extensive work in the technology area.

Software Products:

Revised Elderly Persons Disability Scale (REPDS)
The REPDS is a software application that allows the carer to determine the level of disability of a person and review it over time. (more info)

Model care Plans (MCP)
Model Care Plans are a standard set of care plans that may be used as a starting point for appropriate care plans (more info)
